Dan Compton & Chris Brown
Dan Compton and Chris Brown have been in business together for twenty years and established China Trade in 2002. Their successful partnership has been based on the high quality of service - delivering what customers want, when they want it, for a market competitive price.
Their commercial experience covers distribution, import/export and management consultancy. From 1985 to 1999, Dan and Chris owned and managed a nationwide and international distribution company, which was sold to a Footsie 100 listed company. During this time they also established various trading companies focused on outsource manufacturing, import/export and management consultancy.
Our UK office is based in Hampshire, and our China office is situated in Wuhan, Hubei Province. We have partnerships with manufacturers in Nanjing, Ningbo, Shenzhen, Wuhan and Shanghai.
Tony Laurenson
Joined China Trade in 2007 as our Technical Director. Tony has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Plastic Injection Mould Making and Mouldings. His engineering experience embraces a range of engineering disciplines which enable him to successfully support clients through the demanding process of design, manufacture and project management.
Jiang Sheng (Johnson)
Our China Trade busines partner based in our China office. Johnson, joined China Trade in 2004, as an associate, becoming a full partner in 2007. His knowledge and network of Chinese manufacturers along with his time at an American Business college, means that Johnson is the ideal person to unite Western client demands with Chinese business practices. He has established his own businesses in the past in textiles, general export and mobile phones.
Jane Yao
Is our Office Manager at our China Office. Jane assists in all aspects of our business from administration and translation to project management. For several years, Jane worked for an international plastic injection business as a sales and marketing manager. Her role in client support and suuplier management is key to the success of our business.
